An American Farmer

This is Fred Smith (his real name). Joe and I were out taking farming pictures, and I asked this gentleman if I could take some pictures while he farmed. He was very nice and gracious. He even invited Joe and I to a Church breakfast the next morning. While I snapped pics of the fields, he was telling Joe about his time in WWII. Then, a friend of Fred's happened to drive up to us all and strike up a conversation. This, folks, is EXACTLY why I’m in love with this area and will not be leaving any time soon.
